FIRST SECTION:

Activity 1

In this initial phase we are going to know and identify some farm animals.

For it, we are going to show children the following image:



And we are going to ask them the following questions:

What animals are there? What is your favourite animal?
Children are going to answer the questions and meanwhile, teacher is going to tell name of the animal that children are referring.

For learning the name of each animal in the best way possible, we are going to use the following flashcard. They contain animals individually. Children have to repeat the name of the animals. 

Recognizing and knowing the name of each animal will be very useful for hearing a song..

             
      

      

               


            


                        

                     


                           
       




Activity 2

In this activity we are going to hear the sounds of the different animals and the teacher is going to ask them:
What animal is this? Children have to recognize the animals and name them.




                                               



Activity 3

 We are going to hear the song "farm animals". We are going to sing together this song several times.






SECOND SECTION:


Activity 1

In this activity we are going to work the mime. For this, we are going to review the names of the animals which we have seen recently.


Right after, we are going to sit down together in the corner of the carpet and are going to play. The teacher is going to represent an animal by mime. Child who guesses it, he/she is going to represent another animal and so on.


Activity 2

In this activity we are going to learn colours. (They will be used for us for next section)

THIRD SECTION:


Activity 1

In this activity we are going to review the animals and colours. For carrying out it, we are going to make use of the following next picture ( We are going to use  the first part of the image).




And we are going to ask children the following questions:       
Is red dog?
What colour is the horse?
What colour is the cat?

What animal do you prefer?

Activity 2

We are going to practice colours with cards like this, children are going to colour the balloon according to the indicated colour.





Activity 3

In this activity we are going to ask for children that they draw, paint and write the name of your favourite animal. Next, we are going to show all the drawings in the class mural.


FOURTH SECTION:

Activity 1

We are going to sit down on the carpet and are going to play with riddles.

Activity 3

We are going to use the second part of the previous section for ask questions of this type.
How many horses are there in the farm?
In the farm, there are 2 horses
How many pigs are there in the farm?

Activity 4

In this activity we are going to try to increase motivation and in order to they been encouraged to do this, we are going to play. This game is going to help us to review the numbers and colours. It consists of making couples and to assign each couple a number. We are going to say aloud the number and colour and the couple will look for two objects in the class with that colour.


FIFTH SECTION:

Activity 1

In this section we are going to work with memory cards.
For this, we are going to use the following cards. We are going to look for the couple of animals and are going to take advantage of learning the names of other animals.

Activity 2

Right after, we are going to watch the following film “Three little pigs” 



SIXTH SECTION:
  

Activity 1


We are going to learn more vocabulary. In this case, some body parts of animals. The teacher is going to mention animals and some of their characteristics. In this way, we are going to learn the following vocabulary: horns, tail, feet, hair, eyes, beak, wings and feathers.

Activity 2

We are going to read the following tale.
Children love listening to stories. They motivate and amuse themselves. Stories exercise their imagination.
We are going to read “ Bambi ”

Once upon a time, there was a forest where many animals live and all of them were very good friends.

One morning a little rabbit called Thumper went to wake up the owl to go to see a little fawn who had just be born. All the animals of the forest went together to meet Bambi, which was how the new fawn was called.
All of them made good friends of them and showed them all that was in the forest the flowers, the rivers and the names of the different animals because for Bambi, everything was unknown. Everyday they met in a clearing to play.



History:

-“Run, Bambi, run!- said the father- keep you out of harm”.
-Why daddy?” Asked Bambi.
-“There are men and each time they come to the forest, they try to hunt us, that’s why when you heard them, you must flee and look for refuge.
Days went by and his father taught him all he had to know, because when he would be older, Bambi will have to take care of the herd.
Later, Bambi met a doe fawn very pretty called Farina, with whom he falled in love. One day they were playing and they heard a dog barking and Bambi thought “Men!” He tried to flee but he realised that the dog was so close that he had no chance but to face him to defend Farnina.
When she was safe, he tried to run but he came up against a precipice that he had to jump. When he jumped the hunters fired at him and Bambi was hurt.
Soon, his dad and friends came and help him to cross the river, because once they crossed it, they would be safe from men. When they managed it, they cured his injuries and he got well soon.
Time passed and our protagonist had grown up a lot. He was already an adult. He went to see his friend and it was difficult for them to recognize him because he had changed a lot and had beautiful antlers.
The owl was old and Thumper had married a rabbit and had three little rabbits. Bambi married Farina and had a fawn to whom all the animals in the forest went to meet. They all lived happily and Bambi was know in charge and looking after all of them, as his dad, who was already too old, had done before.
